The Veterans Honor Park Committee met with the City in August 2012 to discuss a park that would honor past, present and future veterans from of all branches of the Armed Forces.  The mission of the park was designed with the intent to educate people about the role of each branch, and to acknowledge their courage and the sacrifices made by the veterans and their families.  The City of Chesterfield and the Veterans Honor Park Committee would like to extend a special thank you to all of the members of the Veterans Honor Park Committee, members of the City’s staff who have assisted them, AEP River Operations - a major donor, individual and corporate donors, as well as the St. Louis County Municipal Parks Grant Commission, which awarded approximately $525,000 toward the project.

The Veterans Honor Park offers a variety of donation opportunities including title sponsors, benches, and donor strips, as well as engraved pressed-concrete pavers. Details on all of the donation opportunities are available on the website, https://vhp.chesterfield.mo.us/donate.html
